Comments from our President

Welcome to the 2021 football season everyone! It is so pleasing to be able to start our planning for the new season and we look forward to seeing all of our former junior and senior members, and some new faces too, back out training and playing over the coming weeks.

We were very fortunate to get a season (of sorts) completed last year, and are hopeful that this season will be a more ‘normal one’ in terms of season length and timings. Football West have released a draft annual calendar suggesting that games will be kicking off in April, but as you will appreciate this could change at any moment if circumstances relating to Covid and health concerns within our state dictate. Fingers- crossed that we do not get any disruptions, or that if we do, they are minor, and we will obviously keep you posted of any changes that may occur.

A quick shout out to our new 2021 Committee who are already assisting with numerous organising and forward planning activities for the club, and a special thanks and welcome to Rose Cunningham who has come on-board as our new Treasurer (this is greatly appreciated Rose!).

Thank you as always for supporting our local community club, we hope you like the look and feel of our new newsletter, and we look forward to a great season of football for all of our members and their families.
