LET THERE BE LIGHT

The wait is finally over!!!

That's right, works are finally completed on the floodlights for both pitches at Kingfisher Park with the official switching on ceremony taking place last Friday night 10th May by club president Mike Peverly.

Even though the work was behind schedule it was certainly worth the wait with the pitches in full glow and the under 13A and under 18 sides being the first age groups to test out the new lights.

Our thanks go to the Ciy of Swan for these impressive facilities which will provide lots of training space for all ages which equates to the future growth of our club.

BAFC BAR NOW OPEN FRIDAY NIGHTS

Come on down for a quiet ale at the Ballajura AFC club rooms on a friday night with the bar now open each week between 5.30pm and 9.00pm.

Enjoy some nibbles, a game of pool and a $7.00 pint of your favourite beer which is well below usual pub prices. Don't forget, the club rooms are a perfect choice for your next social function or event so contact the club for further details.

Are you having a function that will attract too many people for your home to handle. Why not hire out the Ballajura AFC club hall for your next special occasion.

CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISER COMING SOON

Ballajura AFC will be conducting a chocolate fundraiser in the coming weeks with a newsletter to be sent home with all players outlining the details. The fundraiser is not compulsory however we do ask that make the effort to sell some chocolates with much needed funds going back into the club to purchase vital equipment.

Sporting clubs rely on the injection of funds through sponsors and fundraising opportunities in order to continue to provide great equipment and facilities for your child. So stay tuned, more details to follow.
